Safe Pastures is made possible by the cooperative effort of community members who serve, mentor and stand in the gap. Would you consider joining us?
We need you and your skills and experiences. Whether you have one hour a day, one hour a week, or one hour a month we can plug you into a volunteer opportunity at Safe Pastures. Simply fill out the volunteer application below and we'll be in touch!
Some of the duties include answering phones, giving tours, helping with mailings, and pitching in as needed with special projects around the home office.
Donations/gifts from the community provide a great opportunity for volunteers who enjoy the benefits of a "one-time" donation. Examples are feminine products, shampoo/conditioner and/or new items such as socks or undergarments.
These trainings are scheduled on weeknights dependent upon the academic schedules of the women involved.
"DINNER WITH FRIENDS"
For those who like to cook and get others involved in the process, this opportunity might be a good fit. Come and bring the ingredients to make a meal with the residents (Please call to schedule).
We welcome office teams, Sunday School classes, youth groups, etc. Whether washing windows, helping with yard work, painting a resident’s room, there are always projects in this 100-year-old home!
While our residents have household responsibilities, extra attention to details makes a big difference in the cleanliness of the house and the health of our residents.
